Built from admiration, refined without end.

The BBC documentary “Seven Wonders of the Industrial World” about the Bell Rock Lighthouse left a lasting impression on me. I had to have one of my own — however I could not find any suitable models, so I set out to develop one, with particular attention to the materials, durability and functionality.

My journey has been one of continuous refinement, particularly in replicating the intricate details of the lightroom and its mechanisms. The beacon is a reflection of the progressive technological advancements of the Bell Rock lightroom: high-powered multi-colored LEDs and a precision geared brushless stepper motor, made to revolve and shine like the original light that warned mariners off the Inchcape Reef.

Every piece is made by hand — cast, printed, plated and assembled — and offered either as a complete 1:50 scale lighthouse or as individual parts, so you can build your own and enjoy the satisfaction of realizing your vision.
